Our Doctors

Natalia

Practice Lead

Natalia is passionate, caring, loving, and hardworking. She strives to make her fur friends feel loved as if they were her very own! She has 13+ years of grooming experience and training in this industry and has a vet tech background as well.

In her practice, she learned that it is very difficult to feel comfortable leaving your fur-child with a stranger. Natalia was determined to change that. She has created a safe environment so dog owners can feel confident leaving their animals in trusted hands. As a fur-mom herself, she knew that she needed to be the person all animals and clients could trust when getting groomed.

After working with multiple rescues and abused dogs, Natalia saw how these animals found it hard to trust, and how quickly groomers would turn them away because of their behavior issues. She knew that if she didn’t vow to provide these animals with the best care and groom, then no other salon would.

Her love and connection for animals is stronger than most, and her passion for opening her grooming services to us is to share that connection with all of her clients!

Jessica

Veterinary Assistant

Jessica is a native to Mooresville, NC. She grew up around farm animals and dogs. She has a love for this field. In her away time from helping animals Jessica is a mom to 4 children and 4 fur babies. She loves spending time outdoors with her family participating in sports, camping and other outdoor activities.

Karrey

Veterinary Assistant

Karrey joined our team in October 2019 and has always had a deep passion for animal care. Her family has been a valued part of our Plaza family for 14 years! Karrey’s sweet, kind nature caught our attention over the years as she took the lead caring to the medical needs of her family’s four-legged babies. Her gentle, calm demeanor and true love for animals has made her a perfect fit for our team. She is passionate about working with all of your fur babies and truly has a special gift. She loves the having the opportunity to build relationships with your pets and love on them when you can’t.

Karrey has developed into a fantastic assistant. Karrey has the ability to love on nervous babies and make them feel more comfortable while they are here for a visit. We are so proud of the role she has taken within the team.

When she’s not working, you will find Karrey spending time with her family and her fur babies, Blue, Laila, Lilly, and Kitty.

Andrea

Veterinary Assistant

Andrea graduated from Lees-McRae College in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology and Rehabilitation. She has hands-on experience at both the St. Louis Zoo and the Fort Worth Zoo, where she worked closely with birds of prey and domestic farm animals. Passionate about animals of all kinds, Andrea is committed to making a positive impact on each animal’s life. In her free time, she enjoys reading Stephen King novels, visiting Disney World, and spending time with her beloved rescue dog, Roxy.

Rylee

Veterinary Assistant

An energetic and bubbly Veterinary Assistant with a heart full of compassion and a natural talent for making both pets and their parents feel safe, supported, and cared for. With hands-on experience in clinical settings, she excels in surgical assistance, patient care, lab work, and client education—always with a warm smile and a can-do attitude. She thrives in fast-paced environments, brings uplifting energy to every shift, and loves being part of a collaborative team. Whether she’s comforting nervous patients, jumping in during emergencies, or clearly explaining care plans to pet owners, she’s all about wagging tails, happy hearts, and top-notch care.

Kim

Receptionist

Kim joined our team March of 2024 as a receptionist. She has been in the veterinarian field since 2003. Kim is from Cornelius but now resides in Landis with her Husband Jason and 2 yorkies (Duke and Dottie). She has always loved animals and knew early in her life she wanted to work in the veterinarian field.

Her favorite thing about working in this field is not only having relationships with the patients but the clients as well. She finds joy in helping clients navigate through the care of their pets.

When Kim is not working, she is enjoying time with her family, friends, reading and watching crime shows.
